Green Cards

Green card or commonly known as permanent resident card are identification cards which indicate that the status of an alien in the country is permanent. Anyhow, approximately four years and nine months the green card holder has the privilege to request to become a naturalized citizen of the country. Green card can also be a specification to an immigration procedure to be an effective permanent citizen of the country. It also acts as evidence that its holder, a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR), has been authoritatively allocated immigration advantages, which comprises authorization to live and to be employed in the desired country. The holder of the green card must obtain permanent residency, and can be withdrawn from the country if he or she didn't abide from the certain requirements of this conditions.

To be an eligible green card holder you need to meet the requirements for a green card which can be for employment or for family relationships. If you have a family member who is already a citizen of the country he or she can request a green card for you. When the visa application has been acknowledged the member of the family who is being sponsored would become qualified to have her or his immigration green card or visa prepared. If you are not in legal age or one of a married couple of an American citizen your request for green card will be reconsidered and your visa would be directly delivered to you. For some instances it will take several years for the visa to be ready for use to some other family members. The specific reason for this long period of waiting time for the visa to be ready for use is because the Immigration Department will analyze and accept the request for visa.

Having a green card can be beneficial but there are also many limitations and obligations. People receiving their green card are one of their greatest moments. It would be absurd if an individual forgot to renew his or her green card and will be revoked. The procedure for renewal of your green card is simple and very easy. You can be denied entering into the country if your green card expires. Green card is legal credentials that the authorities can identify you to be able to enter the country legally; the green card must be valid at any given point of time. It is also one of the requirements if you request for permanent residency or citizenship.
