What is an employment contract? An employment contract is a contract of employment between the employer and the employee. There is a section in the labor law that assigns the rights and duties among the parties. A person who is hired to do a responsibility in a certain job or work is called an employee. Contracts for employment started in the 20th century as the old master-servant law. This was used to put a relationship between the economic affiliation and social deputy. This is the affiliation among the carrier of the power and a person who's not the carrier of the power. In other words, an employment contract is the written or verbal act between the employee and employer.
How does an employment contract work? An employment contract is the break down of terms and conditions for the employment which involves the wages, hours, and type of work. It is based on the position of employee, the employee's obligation, and the nature of the business. The employment is specified and designated through the terms of employment, specified duties and responsibilities of the employee as well as his/her performance, incomplete provision of document, rate or compensation along with the monthly salary, automobile expenses, transportation expenses, and a bonus incentive if used. It also involves the privacy or confidentiality of the employer's business operating procedures and expenses, price, trading, and the ownership information. The contract also specifies the act of termination when abusing responsibility, not behaving well during duty, reestablishment, or company losses. Most high positioned employees have provision in the contract to declare the specific amount of pay, around six to twelve months worth of salary, that would be paid back to the employee when termination takes place.
Anything that is not contained in the original employment contract may takes place through common-law rights. Meaning to say that the employee have the right to all the ideas, innovations, or even the breakthrough of the statement except that he/she was certainly hired to come up to those ideas and innovations.
